These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Chance (the "App"), operated by Chance ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the App.

IMPORTANT: Chance maintains a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for objectionable content and abusive users. We do not tolerate any form of harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior. Violations will result in immediate action, including content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the App.

By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are suspected of being underage.

2. Zero Tolerance Policy for Objectionable Content and Abusive Users

Chance maintains a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for objectionable content and abusive users. We do not tolerate any form of harassment, abuse, or inappropriate behavior.

You agree not to use the App to:

  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate others
  • Post or send hate speech, discriminatory content, or violent content
  • Share sexually explicit content
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Share misleading, false, or fraudulent information
  • Solicit money, goods, or services from other users
  • Promote illegal activity
  • Circumvent safety features (blocking, reporting, moderation)
  • Use profanity, offensive language, or objectionable content

Violations of these terms will result in immediate action, including but not limited to content removal, account suspension, or permanent account termination. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes prohibited behavior and objectionable content.

3. Account Registration and Responsibility

To use certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

You may not:

  • Create more than one account
  • Share your account with others
  • Use another user's account

4. App Purpose and Nature of Service

Chance is a social and dating-oriented platform designed to encourage conversation, interaction, and engagement through prompts, games, and messaging.

We do not guarantee:

  • Matches
  • Compatibility
  • Relationships
  • Outcomes of any kind

User interactions are voluntary and occur at your own discretion and risk.

5. User-Generated Content

You are solely responsible for the content you post, share, or send through the App ("User Content").

By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.

We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Content Moderation

To maintain a safe environment, we may:

  • Review User Content
  • Remove content that violates these Terms
  • Suspend or terminate accounts

Moderation may be automated, manual, or a combination of both.

We are not obligated to monitor all activity but reserve the right to do so.

7. Blocking and Reporting

Users may block or report other users and individual messages at any time within the App.

Blocking prevents further interaction and immediately removes the blocked user's content from your feed. All blocking actions are reported to the developer for review.

Reporting allows us to review behavior and take appropriate action, which may include warnings, suspensions, or account termination. All reports are reviewed by our team and inappropriate content is removed immediately.

8. Safety Disclaimer

We do not conduct background checks on users.

You acknowledge that:

  • Interactions occur at your own risk
  • We are not responsible for user conduct

We encourage users to exercise caution when communicating with others or meeting in person.

9. Subscriptions and Purchases

Certain features may require payment.

If you purchase a subscription:

  • Payments are processed through Apple In-App Purchases
  • Pricing and billing frequency are disclosed prior to purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
  • You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings.

All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in harmful or abusive behavior
  • Pose a safety risk to others

Termination may occur without prior notice where appropriate.

11. Intellectual Property

All App content, excluding User Content, including trademarks, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to us.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the App without our permission.

12. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE".

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We shall not be liable for:

  • User conduct
  • Loss of data
  • Emotional distress
  • Indirect or consequential damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the last 12 months, if any.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chance from claims arising out of:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your User Content

15. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

We will notify users of material changes through the App or other reasonable means.

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
